Traveling South on I-75

• Take I-275 to I-40 West
• Exit 386 B, Hwy 129, toward the airport
• At the airport, make sure you are in the left lane and follow it toward the Smoky Mountains, through Alcoa and the intersection of Hwy 321 North at Maryville College.  Follow Hwy 321 North to Townsend then refer to directions below to Orchard Cove.

Traveling North on I-75

• Take Exit  81  to Hwy 321 North at Lenoir City
• Follow 321 North to Townsend then refer to directions below to Orchard Cove.

Traveling East on I-40

• Take Exit 364 to Hwy 321 North toward Lenoir City
• Follow 321 North to Townsend then refer to directions below to Orchard Cove.

Traveling West on I-40

• Exit 386 B, Hwy 129, toward the airport
• At the airport, make sure you are in the left lane and follow it toward the Smoky Mountains, through Alcoa and the intersection of Hwy 321 North at Maryville College.  Follow Hwy 321 North to Townsend then refer to directions below to Orchard Cove.

From Pigeon Forge

We do not recommend driving this direction with your trailer because of traffic and curvy roads.  If you decide to come this way, turn right at the traffic light in Townsend then left at Campground Methodist Church (Tuckaleechee Caverns sign).  Then refer to odometer directions below.

DO NOT FOLLOW OTHER INTERNET OR GPS DIRECTIONS

As you come into Townsend on Hwy 321, you will pass some shops on the right called Apple Valley Country Stores.  About one mile past these shops you will turn right at Campground Methodist Church (left if coming from Pigeon Forge).  You will also see a yellow and black sign pointing you to Tuckaleechee Caverns.

If you "0" in your trip meter as you turn right at the church, you can follow these distances:

• At 0.7    - Turn left at Tuckaleechee Methodist Church Cemetery
• At 1.4    - Bear left at Davy Crockett Riding Stable
• At 1.8-9 - Keep to left
• At 2.3    - Pass Caverns on your left.  Road narrows and goes uphill.
• At 3.0    - Turn left onto School House Gap Road.  Before turning, look to see if anyone is coming out.  Let them exit before you turn.  This road is narrow, but people are generally good about pulling over for you.
• At 3.7    - Our driveway is on the left (1263 School House Gap Road). Turn left at the rock sign.  DO NOT GO BEYOND       ROCK.  Take the right fork when the drive splits.
